OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Insight into Academia: Finding Funding as an Early Career Researcher
Do you hope to take your first steps towards research independence? In this seminar we will explore funding opportunities such as non-stipendiary fellowships, knowledge exchange funds and seed funds. We’ll take a look at ways in which success in applying for these relatively small pots of funding can successfully position you for the some of the bigger funding opportunities that come later. We’ll also offer tips on what makes a successful funding bid. This is a chance to ask questions and generate discussion on this sometimes-challenging aspect of being an academic.
