Gaming the Food System: An IFSTAL 'Lightning' Game Jam
Calling all gaming enthusiasts!! We don’t discriminate between video game and board game preferences – all are encouraged to attend.
IFSTAL students are encouraged to read Unit 3 on the Portal before attended. But no preparation or prior information is needed to participate in this event.

Come and learn about gaming-as-research-method!

Games – whether board based, role-playing, adventurous or computer based – are increasingly being used as a way to examine real-world issues. Given the complexity, multiple roles and possibilities in food systems, games seem an important avenue to explore.
We’ll work together to develop new games on a food system theme and explore how this can help us explore, research and educate around food systems.
