Mental health matters: A proactive approach
Penny Aspinall, Mental Health Trainer from the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust: charliewaller.org

As part of the Thrive working group’s on-going campaign to promote healthy working practices, WIN has engaged the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust to provide professional training on how to take a proactive approach to mental wellbeing.
We strongly encourage everyone to come along and participate in this training, as part of prioritizing your own mental wellbeing at work.
The session will last 90 minutes and include slides, videos and small group breakouts for reflection and discussion. It will provide information and practical ideas on how you can protect your own mental health and identify signs of when we, or those close to us, are starting to struggle. We will cover:
The mental health continuum and recognising when to get help
Stress
Impact of presenteeism and unhelpful perfectionism on our mental health
How sleep and taking breaks helps to maintain optimal functioning
