OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Scientific Publishing: Behind the Scenes at Nature
Nature is one of the flagship journals for publishing impactful and transformative research studies across scientific disciplines. Dr George Caputa, senior editor for metabolism and cardiovascular biology, will outline the scope of the journal, what to consider when submitting, and how to navigate the peer review process. Following the talk, there will be the opportunity to ask questions and discuss Nature, publishing, and advances in scientific research.
