Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
This, the eighteenth annual OxPeace Day- Conference, takes place in the 80th year since the inaugural meeting of the UN General Assembly. That meeting, held in the Methodist Centrall Hall in post-war London in January-February 1946, designed how the UN would operate to carry out its Charter, to establish peace and prevent further wars. What should we aim for, and what resources can we call upon?
