OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Breaking Down the Travel Writing Genre
Sophy Roberts is a writer based in West Dorset. An alumni of the Kellogg College Centre for Creative Writing, she is also a graduate of Oxford University and the Columbia School of Journalism. Sophy is a regular contributor on travel conservation issues to The Financial Times, among other titles. Sophy’s writing focuses on remote places, from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Chad, to Tajikistan and Russia. Her critically acclaimed first book, The Lost Pianos of Siberia, was published in 2020.
This seminar is open to all, no booking necessary.
