OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. What is the challenge that lies ahead for Keir Starmer and his Government? Is to remake Britain? Or merely to repair it?
Professor Marc Stears (Director, UCL Policy Lab; former chief speechwriter to the Labour Party; co-author of ‘England: Seven Myths that Changed a Country’) and Baroness Royall of Blaisdon (Principal, Somerville College; former Leader of the House of Lords) will explore the direction of the Starmer Labour government — and its prospects at a time defined by economic and geopolitical challenges.
