OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Oxford Medical Humanities is hosting Professor Lawrence Gostin, renowned expert in global health governance, for a University of Oxford Astor Visiting Lectureship in October 2022. On Monday 3 October, Prof Gostin will give the 2022 Astor Lecture in the Medical Humanities, ‘Global Health Emergencies: From Ebola and Covid-19 to Monkeypox’. This will be followed by a drinks reception. The Astor Lecture is free to attend but registration is required.
