OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Inclusive Teaching and Disability Workshop

Organised by the History Faculty Working Group on Disability and the Disability Advisory Service, join us for a discussion about inclusive teaching and disability in the History disciplinary context.
All those who teach in the History Faculty, including ECRs and PLTO trainees, are welcome to attend. The session will include:
A panel discussion between History Faculty staff and students sharing their perspectives and experiences
An overview of current inclusive teaching guidance at the University with an opportunity for discussion about applications in History
Advice on implementing Student Support Plans and communicating with students about the adjustments recommended, with an opportunity to discuss challenges experienced in History
Wrap-up discussion
Undergraduate, PGT an PGR contexts will be covered.
