Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.

The Showcase will provide an exclusive preview of Planet Positive Lab’s first cohort, ahead of the Planet Positive Lab Demo Day at 180 Strand in London on 21 September.
Nine pioneering sustainable innovators will make start-up pitches, divided into two sessions, with short networking breaks in between. The event will conclude with a prize giving, closing remarks, and more networking opportunities over lunch.
Planet Positive Lab, the world’s first university-based, operator-backed climate tech programme, is a new initiative between Wadham College, Founders Factory and Planet Fund. The Showcase and the start-ups’ pitches are the culmination of a bespoke ten-week programme, supported by Wadham College, Founders Factory, and Planet Fund. The founders have navigated the challenges of starting and scaling a sustainable business and benefited from expert-led workshops, specialised mentorship, a tailored curriculum, and much more.
