'Better evidence for better health care'
Professor Carl Heneghan, Director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, will be talking about the urgent need to improve the quality of current research evidence. He will discuss the shortcomings in current research: why we need better evidence, more affordable treatments and improvements in how patients are informed if we are to realise effective evidence-based medicine.

This talk is being held as part of the Practice of Evidence-Based Health Care module which is part of the MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
