Sleep, Insomnia and Mental Health
Dieter Riemann (PhD) is Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology & Psychophysiology Sleep Medicine, Hospital for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University of Freiburg Medical Centre. His research interests include sleep and sleep regulation, psychopathology, depression, cognitive-behavioural therapy, sleep & learning, insomnia, psychopharmacology of sleep, causes and consequences of insomnia. Professor Riemann was a member of a DSM 5 work group (Sleep Disorders Section) for the American Psychiatric Association and is Treasurer of the European Sleep Research Society.
