Project management: the essentials (in-person)
The focus of this course is to provide a practical ‘project management toolbox’ that you can use in your daily work.
COURSE DETAILS
During the course you will have the opportunity to manage a project. You will be able to apply the techniques you learn to a project that you bring along. Topics covered: project initiation, managing stakeholders and risk, time estimation, planning.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this session you will understand more about:
 The importance of planning.
 The tools to make project management succeed.
 How to estimate the time a project will take realistically.
 The skills you need to be a good project manager.
