OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Celebration of Spring: Performance of South Asian Classical Music
You are warmly invited to a term-ending celebration of the advent of spring, with a performance of South Asian classical music. Pete Yelding, musicologist and performer, will present springtime ragas on sitar with tabla accompaniment, and speak about the Lucknow Shahjahanpur Gharana performance style, of which he is the only UK exponent. The talk and performance will be followed by Q&A with the performers. Refreshments will be provided.
