OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Aim : prior to a two week on-site evaluation starting 26th Feb learn how the Cell3iMager is used to rapidly scan spheroid plates of any type to generate growth curves and comparative data on area, pseudo-volume, circularity and other useful parameters. The system is designed to process single microtissue spheroids per well and also multiple spheres per well (e.g. neurospheres, mammospheres etc). This is also an opportunity to learn about InSphero’s GravityPLUSTM hanging drop kit for generation and convenient long term culture of 3D microtissue spheroids.
