On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

This workshop explores the range of sources available for researching histories of gender, identity, and subjectivity. Researchers will explain the particular rewards and challenges posed by their primary sources when seeking to understand diverse questions, places, and time periods. The informal 10-minute papers will be followed by Q&A, and general discussion of the particular methodological or archival puzzles we face in our own work.
This workshop is designed particularly for undergraduate students thinking about developing a thesis project relating to gender, identity or subjectivity.
All very welcome! If you’d like to attend, email cgis@history.ox.ac.uk for the link to the seminar.
