About Nick Tanner:
Nick has been involved in testing and approvals since 2000, and specifically with EMC testing since 2002, in that time covering testing and approvals for applications in industries as diverse as Automotive, Military/Aerospace, Medical, Industrial, IT and more.

Primarily involved in the actual testing in the early years of his EMC career, Nick then progressed into Quality Management and became a UKAS trained auditor under ISO 17025.

Nick then joined TRaC (Now Element Materials Technology Warwick Ltd) in 2009 in an Applications Engineering/Technical Sales role, moving away from the Operational / Quality side of testing a little, focusing instead on the pre-test activities, from discussions at initial concept stage, to applications specific discussions and generation of EMC test plans, and seeing this through to production of quotations for the appropriate test and approvals for the customer’s specific application.

Nick progressed to Senior EMC Applications Engineer in 2012, and in January 2017 moved into his current Business Development Manager role, covering all CE marking-type activities including EMC, Electrical Safety, Radio, ATEX, Environmental and Approvals/Certification
