OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

Effective Communication: content, clarity and confidence (in-person)
Presenting one’s work to a variety of audiences is a crucial part of successful research.
This masterclass will cover different aspects of conveying your message and how to communicate your research effectively. It will include sessions on how to hone your content for different audiences – from specialists to the general public.
The workshop will help you to improve your presentation style, including sessions on body language and voice.
The day will include practical exercises (some of which will be filmed) to allow for self-reflection and feedback.
