Into Silence: Silence and the Body
This is a performance which will include sound, movement, silence and soundpainting
You are invited Into Silence at the Ashmolean

Silence and the Body is a performance by the Istanbul-based body percussion group KeKeÇa in the Ashmolean Museum.

It will include sound, movement, silence and soundpainting.

The performance will begin at 15:00 and finish around 15:45.

The performance is a playground of silence, sound and movement. You will be encouraged to see silence, to sense it physically, and to think about it critically.

After the performance, there will be a drinks reception at which organisers, performers and audience will informally discuss their experiences. There will also be an opportunity to share your views and experiences through our feedback booklets and/ or by making a short film.

Please note, there will be two British Sign Language interpreters at the event and a portable induction loop system will be available at the welcome desk and during the wine reception.
