OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Oxford Sanctuary Fair 2023
Come along to Oxford’s first town-and-gown Sanctuary Fair – a free, full-day event at Oxford Town Hall, on Thursday 11 May.
A free, all-day drop-in event connecting refugees, students, and the local community.
It is open to everyone and provides an opportunity to learn more about refugee issues and how we can all make a difference.
The fair will include panel discussions and interactive workshops featuring students, academics, activists, politicians, community leaders, and influencers, many of whom have experienced displacement first-hand.
Stalls from community organisations will give you a chance to meet those who are making a difference on the front line, and to find volunteering opportunities and practical actions to support refugees and asylum seekers in Oxford and beyond.
Sanctuary Fair 2023 is a collaborative event hosted by the University of Oxford, Asylum Welcome and Oxford City Council.
