OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). MiM: Managing conflict with colleagues
Disputes between colleagues can have a significant impact on performance and wellbeing as well as affecting patient experience and safety. This course is designed to help healthcare professionals understand how and why conflicts arise within and between teams, as well as what they can do to try and resolve issues.
This course aims to help participants:
understand the causes and impact of colleague-to-colleague conflict in a healthcare context
appreciate different types of conflict personalities
identify how conflict develops
learn de-escalation strategies
