Reporting your statistical analyses: UK EQUATOR Centre Lightning Workshop
The EQUATOR Lightning Workshop series offers free academic writing and publication skills training for early-career biomedical and clinical researchers.

How should you present your health research data? What is all the current controversy around p-values? What are the common pitfalls in designing figures and tables? This workshop with Dr Michael M. Schlussel includes practical tips and tricks for making sure your biomedical research paper makes a stats reviewer’s heart sing, not sink!

Dr Michael M Schlussel is a senior medical statistician working to strengthen medical research integrity and transparency at the Centre for Statistics in Medicine and UK EQUATOR Centre. He develops and evaluates prognostic models, reporting guidelines, and systematic reviews, and is involved in several initiatives to promote research integrity and transparency.

He teaches subjects related to medical research planning, conduct, analysis, and reporting in several MSc courses at the University of Oxford and through the short courses offered by the EQUATOR Network and Centre for Statistics in Medicine.

This free workshop is open to University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes staff and students, but we do ask you to book a spot. To hear about other EQUATOR courses in Oxford, please join our mailing list by sending a blank email to equator-oxford-subscribe@maillist.ox.ac.uk.
