Astor Lecture: Prevention and Treatment of Pediatric Anxiety Disorders.
Pediatric anxiety disorders are the most common psychiatric conditions and result in substantial personal, familial, social, and economic burden. Identifying effective interventions that reduce this burden is a global public health priority. In this lecture, Professor Ginsburg will review extant knowledge in this field on prevention and treatment efforts and present her own clinical research addressing these issues.
