OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Gemma Simmons CJ (Margaret Beaufort Institute, Cambridge): Imagine there’s a Heaven (it’s easy if you try): Ignatius of Loyola and imaginative contemplation.
Imagination lies at the heart of the Ignatian contemplative tradition, rooted in St. Ignatius’ own conversion through learning to take feelings and fantasy seriously as part of the human capacity to engage directly with God. How reliable are imagination and desires as a basis for an authentic spiritual life?
