Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.

Biography:
Stephen Fisher is a Professor of Political Sociology at Oxford University. His research has primarily been on public opinion and how people vote in elections, in Britain and cross-nationally. The main themes of his research have been attitudes to climate change, ethnic minority political attitudes and behaviour, analysis of election outcomes, political geography, election forecasting, tactical voting and quantitative research methods.
As well as writing academic articles, Stephen has worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on a global survey of climate change attitudes (The Peoples’ Climate Vote), provided election predictions for the BBC (including exit polls for general elections), and commentary on elections and public opinion for the media more broadly.
