Digital Developments at the Folger Shakespeare Library
The Folger Shakespeare Library’s collections and knowledge are growing ever more accessible through digital means. Director of Digital Access Eric M. Johnson will describe the Folger’s growing portfolio of digital offerings, as well as the efforts to connect the Folger’s world-class collection of early modern holdings and Shakespeareana with other institutions’ collections. The projects he will describe include the work-in-progress Miranda digital asset platform, Early Modern Manuscripts Online, and the Folger Digital Texts of Shakespeare’s complete works.

Eric Johnson is the Director of Digital Access at the Folger Shakespeare Library, where he heads the Digital Media and Publications division. He manages the Folger’s various digital initiatives, and oversees the journal Shakespeare Quarterly and the Folger Editions series of Shakespeare’s complete works.
