OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Professor Thomas Charles-Edwards (Celtic Studies) and Huw Jones (History) talking about their current work. Thomas Charles-Edwards will speak on Irish politics in the eleventh century, and Huw Jones will discuss his research on discourses of barbarism in the twelfth century, thinking about Ireland in a broader European context
