OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.
If you have any questions, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Climate Change? Climate Emergency? What can we do in Oxford?
Climate change is happening. We need to limit global warming to 1.5°C. To do that we need urgent action by the government and in every town and city. This free event looks at what is happening to our planet and what we can do locally that will make a real difference. There will be introductory sessions for people who are new to this issue and want to build their skills and understanding, along with workshops for those who are already active and want to plan their next steps.
