OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Laurence Whitehead is a Senior Research Fellow at Nuffield College, (in the field of Comparative Politics) and a longstanding contributor to teaching at the Latin American Centre on such topics as the Democratization of Latin America; the International Relations of the region, and the Comparative Revolutions paper (Bolivia, Cuba, Mexico). His most recent relevant book is Latin America: A new Interpretation (Palgrave, second edition 2009)
