OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

An Introduction to Personal Resilience
The Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences has invited The Wellbeing Project to deliver a free online webinar, An Introduction to Personal Resilience.
It is more important than ever to be aware of stressors on our mental wellbeing and to be able to devise strategies to build our own resilience and manage more challenging periods. The Wellbeing Project offers this ‘resilience espresso’ webinar, where you will explore the core principles of resilience and wellbeing and learn practical strategies to boost your own resilience. By the end of this one-hour webinar, you will:
Understand the key elements of personal resilience
Implement practical strategies to protect against a dip in wellbeing
Take positive control and healthy ownership of your own resilience.
