OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk

Cancelled due to strike action.
Social Impact Bonds combine private investment, not for profit service delivery and public sector commissioning in an innovative way that some believe represents one of the most significant reforms in social provision on a global level. These ‘outcome based’ contracts have been seen as one interpretation of the recent turn to social investment in social policy, and have been the subject of considerable hype. This seminar will discuss these claims in the context of a study of three social impact bonds in the UK.
