Free public event: learn about NHS cancer research
Find out about NHS cancer research taking place in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire and how to get involved at our free public event.
Researchers will give talks on NHS cancer studies taking place in the region, how to get involved and how past research has contributed to medical advancements in the treatment of cancer.
Patients will speak about their experiences of taking part in NHS research and why others should volunteer for studies.
The event will end with a Q&A with a panel of healthcare professionals and people who took part in cancer studies.
Free teas, coffees and cakes will be provided.
Booking is recommended but not essential.

4pm – Talk: Sue Duncombe – Research changes lives
4.20pm – Discussion and Q&A with the speakers, chaired by Dr Karthik Ramasamy
