It is with the greatest of pleasure that we announce the return of the award-winning play YUGPURUSH – MAHATMA’S MAHATMA to the United Kingdom in January 2018 for a special tour in English!
After a phenomenal, record-breaking global journey of over 1,000 shows through India, Europe, USA, Africa, Middle East, South East Asia and Australia – this theatrical masterpiece depicting the very special relationship between Mahatma Gandhi and Shrimad Rajchandraji, is heading back to the U.K. by popular demand. Shrimadji was considered as Mahatma Gandhi’s spiritual guide and laid foundations for principles of non-violence and truth in Gandhiji.
This specially commissioned tour of Yugpurush, endorsed and supported by the High Commission of India (London), will be one of the concluding highlights of the successful UK-India Year of Culture.
Proceeds from the play will go towards supporting a new 250-bed multi-specialty charity hospital in South Gujarat, India.
