On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Dr Kate Feluś is an experienced researcher and advisor on all aspects of the restoration, planning and management of historic parks and gardens. For over two decades, Dr Feluś has worked on diverse projects from Elizabethan water gardens to Edwardian seaside parks.
In 2016, Dr Feluś published her first monograph, The Secret Life of the Georgian Garden, which was published in 2016, to coincide with the tercentenary celebrations for ‘Capability’ Brown. It was featured in the FT Books of the Year. She is currently working on a study of the remarkable women who have created British gardens (over the last 300 years, right up to the present day) and the great designers with whom they joined forces. It will be published by Yale University Press. This lecture is open to the public and is free to attend. Please register your interest and reserve a seat via Eventbrite.
The Penson Lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the Garden Quad Reception Room to which all are welcome. The reception will finish at around 19.00.
