On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Harris Society (Keble college law society) is honoured to be hosting Lady Justice Carr at the Harris Society Annual Lecture 2023. Lady Justice Carr is an esteemed judge who is currently in office in the Court of Appeal of England and Wales. The title of this year’s lecture is: ‘“Delicate Plants”, “Loose Cannons” or “A Marriage of True Minds”? The Role of Academic Literature in Judicial Decision-Making.’
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception to which all attendees are invited.
The lecture will run from 5pm to 6pm. Attendees should be seated in the theatre by 4:50pm.
