Explorations in Food System Outcomes: food security, the environment and economy
The next IFSTAL lecture on the 3rd December sees Drs Rosemary Collier and Kelly Reed, Warwick University, exploring food system outcomes, i.e. the emergent consequences of producing and consuming food. The lecture will address issues of food security/insecurity, health and welfare outcomes, the environmental impacts of food system activities, the cultural world around food, profit, employment and livelihoods coming from food. Outcomes are linked in various ways, and working to alter one outcome will have knock-on implications for others.
