A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. All over the world, increasing numbers of people move into cities. Urban hotspots can be a source of ideas and progress – but also one of dangerous inequalities. So what should today’s cities be doing to prepare for the future? The Oxford Climate Society will explore the problems that face cities in both developing and developed nations and discuss potential solutions with Radhika Khosla, a Senior Researcher at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, whose research examines how countries and cities in transition can effectively manage and meet their energy, economic and environmental objectives.
