OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

EIT Health Lunch & Learn
EIT Health’s annual Call for Proposals has been published early in October. EIT Health is a knowledge & innovation network comprising ~150 leading industry, academic and healthcare partners in a network across Europe, including the University of Oxford.
It addresses 6 focus areas:
1. Towards Health Continuum Care Pathways
2. Creating the Enabling Environment for Healthcare Transformation
3. Harnessing the Power of Real World Data (RWD)
4. Bringing Care Home
5. Employer Leadership in Improving Health Outcomes in the Workplace
6. Fostering Healthy Lives by Introducing Behavioural Change
EIT Health addresses these topics via calls for proposals on Education, Innovation and Accelerator programmes. Education programmes can address students, professionals, entrepreneurs or citizens. Innovation projects fund the validation of healthcare technologies with the potential to significantly impact healthcare. Accelerator programmes must already have reached the proof of concept stage and the team must be committed to take the innovation to market/implementation (business creation).
If you are interested in learning more about EIT Health, you may be interested in attending the lunch & learn session with EIT Health staff at the BioEscalator on 14th November at 1pm (free lunch).
