OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Updates from the IOI with Sir Stewart Cole and Prof Craig Maclean
Sir Stewart Cole has recently joined the Ineos Oxford Institute for antimicrobial research as Executive Chair. In his role, Prof Cole will provide strategic oversight to the Institute’s research and engagement activities.
Prof Craig Mclean is Professor of Evolution and Microbiology and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Biology. Over the last year Prof Maclean has been working with colleagues across the University of facilitate an Oxford-wide AMR network to increase opportunities for collaborations between researchers.
Join Stewart and Craig for a townhall on AMR. Stewart will reflect on his first two months in Oxford and discuss his plans for the Institute over the next two years. Craig will launch an Oxford-wide AMR network.
There will be a 30-minute Q&A session after the two talks, followed by lunch.
