On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Oxford Behavioural Science Society (OBSS) is excited to announce our inaugural event with Professor Cass Sunstein, author of the renowned book “Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth and Happiness”.Professor Cass R. Sunstein is currently the Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard University. He is the founder and director of the Program on Behavioral Economics and Public Policy at Harvard Law School. He has previously received the Holberg Prize from the government of Norway, sometimes described as the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for law and the humanities. In 2020, WHO appointed him as Chair of its technical advisory group on Behavioural Insights and Sciences for Health. He also serves as an adviser to the Behavioural Insights Team in the United Kingdom.
