OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Indian media and caste: why are lower caste journalists missing from newsrooms?
In this special event at the Somerville College’s Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development, Tejas Harad, copy editor at India’s reputed weekly journal Economic and Political Weekly, will discuss why people from India’s lower castes are under-represented in journalism.
