Travelling with Coetzee: Other Arts, Other Languages

Travelling with Coetzee: Other Arts, Other Languages is a two-day conference on the work of J.M. Coetzee to be held at the University of Oxford on 29-30 September. The conference aims to consider both the transmission of Coetzee’s work into other languages and art forms, and the consistent engagement with other languages and art forms within his published work and archive. The academic programme will be comprised of panels on the relationship between Coetzee’s work and other art forms, including visual arts and music, as well as panels that address broader debates about intermediality, modernism, translation, and world literature.
