Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Professor Katherine O’Brien O’Keeffe (Clyde and Evelyn Slusser Professor of English at the University of California, Berkeley): Katherine O’Brien O’Keeffe will be the visiting Eastman Professor at Balliol for the whole academic year; she specialises in the literary culture of Anglo-Saxon England. Her research focuses on cultural transmission, editing in manuscript cultures, and questions of agency in early medieval culture.
