OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Talk by Professor Simone Buitendijk, Vice Rector, Leiden University and Professor and Chair of Women’s and Family Health, Leiden University Medical Centre.
The League of European Research Universities (LERU) has launched a new advice paper on gendered research and innovation. The paper explains why sex and gender analysis in research matters, considers the extent to which potential sex and gender differences are addressed in the way that research is designed, implemented and reported, and makes recommendations to LERU members on how to integrate gender in research and innovation.
Professor Buitendijk, the lead author of the report and a steering group member of the LERU gender working group, will present the main findings at this talk.
The event is free and all are welcome, but registration is required: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/gendered-research-and-innovation-a-talk-by-professor-simone-buitendijk-leiden-university-tickets-18557578216
