About Dan Vigneron
Professor Vigneron is a Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and a Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco. He is also Director of the Advanced Imaging Technologies Resource Group, Director of the Hyperpolarized MRI Technology Resource Center, and Associate Director of the Surbeck Laboratory for Advanced Imaging at UCSF.
Professor Vigneron leads the technical development aspects of hyperpolarized carbon-13 MR program at UCSF and is the Principal Investigator of projects focused on new metabolic MRI techniques. He has published over 200 articles, over 10 book chapters and over 450 abstracts related to his research.
