OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Scientists from the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics, CMD and the KOALA Study have arranged a fun day of science-focussed activities in University Parks. All welcome to come along with your friends, children, parents and grandparents!
Try a variety of hands-on activities to learn more about your amazing brain, from balance challenges to testing the blood-brain barrier, and much more. You can also learn about the KOALA research study into amblyopia (‘lazy eye’) in children, and try activities to learn about how medicines are created. Visit the Museum of Natural History for a bonus microscope activity looking at cells!
Join us in University Parks – look out for the gazebos behind the Sherrington Building.
