OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Ewen Green Memorial Lecture - Customs in Common: making ‘race’ in the black/white Atlantic
This year’s Ewen Green Memorial Lecture will be held on Thursday 1st November at 5pm in the College Auditorium.
The speaker is Professor Catherine Hall (UCL), Emerita Professor of History and Chair of the Centre for the Study of the Legacies of British Slave-Ownership, and the title of her lecture is “Customs in Common: making ‘race’ in the black/white Atlantic.”
