OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Sustainable Tourism for Development: Experiences from the Field
Join us for lunch at the Lab with Sophie Ibbotson, a World Bank consultant with a particular interest in sustainable tourism.
Sophie Ibbotson is an economic development consultant with a particular interest in sustainable tourism. She works for the World Bank in the Balkans and Central Asia, where she is currently the international advisor for the Rural Economy Development Project in Tajikistan; she is also Uzbekistan’s Ambassador for Tourism, and the Chairman of the Royal Society for Asian Affairs.
