Translating research from the laboratory to the market place
Have you heard about the Lean Launchpad programme run by SynbiCITE, the Innovation and Knowledge Centre for Synthetic Biology based at Imperial College (Oxford University is a partner)? The programme developed by Steve Blank at UCSF is probably the best system entrepreneurship training for life science start-ups as it is experiential and focusses teams on ‘getting out of the building’ and talking to people. Synthetic biology can include molecular biology, software, systems biology, chemical biology, interdisciplinary bioscience etc.
