OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Feedback in Medical Education: Lessons from Coaching

Needs Assessment: Clinicians engaged in teaching need to understand the importance of assessment and feedback, recognize barriers to effective feedback and know how to best use feedback to encourage optimal performance in trainees.
Learning objectives:
1. Recognize the importance of assessment and feedback for all learners at all levels
2. Describe barriers to effective feedback
3. Apply lessons from coaching to encourage peak performance in your trainees in clinic, at the bedside and in the operating room
